The most terrible thingin the world
just happened to me.

Nothing changes.

Not even a spiderweb
trembles

a room
full of balloons
doesn't sway

the forests
don't burst into flame

the cities don't slow

there is no pause
no breath, no flicker of understanding in the worlds
to show what I have seen, felt.
