I see myself everywhere
and I smile everywhere.
Smiling
at myself.
Snow struck by rain
little circles, like my seal
gutters bumbling their hellos
as the wind pushes my hair
on the roads.
I walk
I see the puddles
I spin in a circle
and I grin some more.
This is my time.
This is my time.
And the sky is cloudy and grey.
Somehow
this seems ill-suited
to a personal triumph
but I don't care.
There's water on the windowsills
water in the streets
water on the houses
and the water on your lawn.
I throw out my arms and I spin
the next time you touch me, greet me like I'm there
feel me spinning in your heart
and smile like I'm smiling.
